Repair Priorities

P1 - Emergency Maintenance

Matters that prevent or severely restrict the College from conducting normal operations or are of a dangerous nature. Immediate make safe.

Emergencies are incidents that are likely to:
■ Endanger life or represent a serious health & safety risk.
■ Cause serious disruption to the operation of a building (boiler failure etc.)
■ Cause extensive damage to buildings (flooding etc.)
■ Business critical issues.

P2 - Urgent Maintenance

Urgent jobs are likely to:

■ Represent a health & safety risk, which is not immediate.

■ Cause disruption to the operation of the building or business.

■ Cause minor damage to buildings.

P3 - Routine Maintenance

Routine jobs are likely to be:

■ These jobs are neither emergencies or urgent and can be completed within 5 days of the report.

P4 - Long Lead-in Time Jobs

Non urgent jobs that need to be logged on the system but will need further investigation by the Estates Team. For example, a part will need to be ordered, or a specialist contractor will need to be called.
